Tips & Tricks: Zeiterfassung
Start the timer from anywhere β The timer widget lives in the top navigation bar, so you can start and stop tracking without leaving whatever page you're on. No need to navigate to the time tracking section first.
Manual entries remember your last project β When adding a manual time entry, the project and task fields pre-fill with whatever you used last. If you're doing the same work all day, adding entries takes just a few seconds.
Check your hour balance at a glance β Your running overtime or deficit is always shown on the Time Tracking dashboard. The coloured indicator turns red when you're behind and green when you're ahead β no mental arithmetic needed.
Missed a clock-out? Fix it inline β If you forgot to stop the timer, your open entry shows a warning banner at the top of the page. Click it to jump straight to the entry and fill in the end time β you don't have to dig through the list.
Filter team entries by status β Managers can filter the team view by "needs review" to surface only entries that are unconfirmed or flagged, making the weekly sign-off much faster than scrolling through everything.
Export only what you need β The time report export respects all active filters. Set a date range, pick a single project or employee, then export β you get a focused CSV instead of the full data dump.
