Tips β€” Projects

Use the AI planner to draft a roadmap, link projects to clients for one-click invoicing, and archive finished projects.

Tips & Tricks: Projekte

Use the AI planner to draft a milestone roadmap β€” Describe your project goal and rough timeline to the AI assistant and it will suggest a set of milestones and tasks to get you started. It's much faster than building a structure from a blank page.

Understand the rate hierarchy β€” Billing rates follow a priority order: task rate overrides project rate, which overrides client rate. Set a project default and only override it at the task level when a specific deliverable is priced differently.

Link projects to clients for one-click invoicing β€” A project tied to a client appears as a source option when creating an invoice. All tracked hours and approved expenses roll up automatically β€” no manual line-item entry needed.

Archive finished projects to keep the list clean β€” Completed projects can be archived so they no longer clutter the active project list. Archived projects remain fully accessible for reporting and can be reactivated at any time if work resumes.

Use task dependencies to catch scheduling conflicts β€” Mark tasks as dependent on one another and Stunden will warn you if a dependent task is scheduled to start before its predecessor is due to finish. Catching that early saves awkward conversations later.
